Chadash Enterprise is dedicated to enhancing employee health and wellness in the workplace, delivering comprehensive, supportive services that create a lasting, measurable impact on employee well-being. By fostering a healthier workforce, the company aims to contribute to reducing lifestyle and infectious disease prevalence, ultimately benefiting businesses and the broader South African community.
The CDAC Programme
We implement a (non) Communicable Diseases Awareness Corporate (CDAC) programme that is an interactive, informative, and practical awareness programme in corporate spaces that creates the perfect opportunity to educate their staff on infectious diseases (HIV, AIDS, STDs, and TB) or non-communicable/lifestyle diseases (diabetes, obesity, hypertension, heart attack/ischemic heart disease, mental illness/mental health disorders).
What does our CDAC Programme entail?
- Tailored Workshops: Half-day or full-day workshops customized to the client's time constraints and employee health needs.
- Pre-Workshop Quiz: A quiz sent to employees to assess their knowledge on diseases and lifestyle choices before the workshop.
- Medical Knowledge: Up-to-date information on communicable and non-communicable diseases and practical lifestyle improvement tips.
- HIV and PrEP Awareness: Education on pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV and voluntary medical male circumcision.
- Practical Demonstrations: Demonstrations on condom usage and HIV testing.
- Video Material: Informative videos on diseases, contraception options, and treatment adherence.
- Case Studies & Discussions: Group discussions and creative feedback sessions to promote engagement.
- Post-Workshop Quiz: A follow-up quiz to assess improvements in employee health education.
- Certificates: Electronic certificates of attendance for all participants.
- Linkage to Care: Post-workshop, we offer free HIV counselling, TB screening, blood sugar, cholesterol testing, and referral letters to relevant health centers.
- Follow-Up: After 1-2 months, we follow up with participants to evaluate their health improvements, providing feedback to the company on major health issues and recommendations for improvement.

What makes us different from other Health and Wellness programmes / companies in South Africa?
Most companies think that instilling staff wellness means taking them on a day out, to listen to guest speakers and play games, and as we know, those days often include the eating of unhealthy food and mostly remaining in a seated position. This approach is unhealthy and ineffective, and its impact lasts only for a day or two, thereafter, employees go back to a work environment that is stressful, sometimes toxic, and generally unconducive to employee health. Therefore, we have devised a service model that we call, a (non) Communicable Diseases Awareness Corporate (CDAC) programme.
This is an interactive, informative, and practical awareness program in corporate spaces that creates the perfect opportunity for employers to educate their staff on infectious diseases (HIV, AIDS, STDs, and TB) or non-communicable/lifestyle diseases (diabetes, obesity, hypertension, stroke, cancers, heart disease, mental illness/mental health disorders).
By allowing employees to attend our program, a company demonstrates their commitment and support to improving the health and wellness of its employees. This is not just a long-term investment in the well-being and awareness of staff, but also a chance to make a commendable difference in the country’s efforts to reduce the prevalence of these diseases.
Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some quick answers to common inquiries about our employee health and wellness services, processes, and policies. It’s designed to help you find important information easily, covering topics such as pricing, project timelines, and technical support.
We require a 75% deposit which covers the costs associated with printing brochures, testing kits (to measure HIV, cholesterol, blood sugar, and blood fats), gift packs for employees and light healthy refreshments served throughout the workshop.
Your company’s HR department can contact us at info@chadashenterprise.com or 0842084291, and you express your needs. We will discuss the number of employees you want to send for the workshops. You can communicate with company supervisors and/or managers to identify employees who need health and wellness interventions.
We agree on the cost, venue, date and time and you pay the 75% deposit. Hereafter, we provide HR with a short quiz that employees must complete via their mobile phones one day before the workshop, which will help your company identify which employees have an increased risk score for several diseases and give us an indication of their level of health education.
This survey is both in paper format (for employees who do not feel tech-savvy) or via a link sent to their emails or cell phones where they can complete the survey online. Data from the survey is directly synced to an online database and sent to us.
All data are confidential and will never be shared by anyone else except Chadash and the respective company, if need be, but will be anonymised to avoid possible victimisation of workplace bullying.
Based on the information gathered from the survey, we will customise our workshops to suit the needs of the employees. Meaning, that if 80% of employees require cardiovascular disease support, we focus our workshops mostly on this topic, or if there is a mixed need will adjust the workshop accordingly and all topics will be covered sufficiently and timeously.
The workshops are then either conducted at the company premises or at a different venue, based on the agreement between Chadash and the client.
Before any payments are made, you must contact us directly to acquire a quotation and invoice, the latter will contain a unique reference number and the banking details where the money must be paid, via electronic transfer.
Proof of payment must be sent to info@chadashenterprise.com with the unique reference number as the subject of the email. We do not accept card payments.
Chadash Enterprise fully adheres to the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI Act) or POPIA. Therefore, the personal information of the employees or clients will not be shared with any third party and all the data will be anonymised.
You are more than welcome to send an email to complaints@chadashenterprise.com and we will keep in touch with you to find a resolution. We are happy to help where we can.
We tailor our programme (number of employees attending, food/snacks required, testing kits etc) based on the needs of the client. Thereafter, we don’t have one general price, however, to help you plan your costing, we have previously charged R800 per delegate.
We provide our programme anywhere in South Africa.
